BONSKI is a Chinese chain operator and manager of indoor ski resorts, owned by Sunac China Holdings Limited.[1] Its core businesses include the development and operation of indoor ski resorts, ski skill training, organization of public ice and snow events, and membership services.

History

BONSKI's first large-scale indoor ski resort is located in Harbin, opening on June 30, 2017 (later renamed Harbin BONSKI).[2] Subsequently, the company opened indoor ski resorts in cities including Guangzhou (June 15, 2019),[3] Wuxi (June 30, 2018),[4] Kunming (December 21, 2019),[5] Chengdu (June 30, 2020),[6] and Chongqing (August 6, 2020).[7]

In 2021, the related ice and snow businesses were integrated under the unified "BONSKI" brand.[8] In the same year, the company launched its membership service system.[9] In 2022, the company announced the establishment of "BONSKI Sports," a subsidiary focused on ski training, and created the "BONSKI Open Ski Competition," which is open to the general public.[10][11]

From 2022 to 2025, BONSKI opened projects in Wuhan (Wuhan WS BONSKI, November 9, 2022; Wuhan Urban Construction BONSKI, November 8, 2024),[12] Xi'an (August 3, 2023),[13] Shijiazhuang (Zhengding BONSKI, July 2025),[14] and Shenzhen (Huafa Ice & Snow BONSKI, September 2025), among others. A project in Suzhou is also scheduled to commence operations on February 1, 2026. The company's international expansion plan was initiated in 2024.
