 2026–27 B.League Premier season | |
B.League Premier (also known as B.Premier), formerly the B1 League until 2026, is the top division of the B.League and the Japanese basketball league system. There is no promotion and relegation, and instead teams must meet requirements to earn a membership to compete in B.Premier.
Membership requirements
Teams are required to meet certain requirements to compete in B.League Premier in order to ensure stability among competing teams. At launch, the requirements were:
- Have an arena capacity of at least 5,000;
- Have annual revenue amounting to at least ¥1.2 billion; and
- Have an average attendance of at least 4,000.
