AttractionTickets.com is a UK-based travel company that sells tickets for theme parks and holiday packages. The business operates under Attraction Tickets Ltd, a privately held company registered in England and Wales.[1]
History
Attraction Tickets Ltd was founded in 2002, initially trading under the name Attraction Tickets Direct.[2]
In 2019, the company rebranded to its current domain, consolidating several country-specific sites into a single international website following a technological overhaul.[3]
In 2020, AttractionTickets.com acquired the 365Tickets domain to expand its UK and European presence following the closure of Merlin Entertainments’ former online ticket retailer.[4][5]
Employee Ownership
In March 2025, Attraction Tickets Ltd transitioned to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), making the company employee-owned.[6][7]
Shareholders sold their shares to the trust, and employees received bonuses. According to The Times, the company handled roughly one-third of tickets sold by British families to Disney parks, was valued at approximately £40 million, and reported net revenues of £22 million with £6 million in pre-tax profit. Founder and CEO Oliver Brendon stated he preferred an employee-owned structure over private equity to maintain company culture.[8] The transition has been noted as an example of employee ownership within the UK travel sector.[9]
Industry Recognition
The company has been associated with various industry awards. It features in the UK Theme Park Awards winners listings, an independent programme recognising performance in the attractions sector.[10] The 2025 awards were presented in association with AttractionTickets.com.[11]
AttractionTickets.com has also appeared on shortlists for the Travolution Awards, which recognise digital innovation in the travel industry.[12][13] According to the company, it has also received multiple British Travel Awards.[14]
Charitable Activities
Founder and CEO Oliver Brendon is the chairman and founder of Play It Forward, a UK-registered charity supporting young people in Zambia through sport, education, and health initiatives.[15][16] Attraction Tickets Ltd supports the charity through corporate partnerships, including staff participation and fundraising activities.[17]
