Angies (Thai: แองจี้ส์) was a Thai girl group that was known for a period of time, releasing albums under Polygram Thailand. They were called the Spice Girls of Thailand because of their resemblance to the Spice Girls, a famous girl group from England. Angies released only one album.[1]

History

Angies consisted of five members: Nok-Piyamaporn Niam-un (currently named Punyisa Niam-un), Nueng-Nattanan Tiraphantham, Tom-Angkana Kongphasuk (currently using the name Athitaya Kongphasuk), Jan-Jenjira Klinsukhon (currently named Sinsaruta Klinsukhon), and May-Chanjira Khaosat. They officially debuted in 1997 under the label Polygram.

There are familiar songs in the Angies album, including the song "Chuan Rae Talot" [2] and the song "Love You Baby" [3]
