Andrés Quintero is a Venezuelan-American stage actor known for his work in musical theatre, including Broadway, national tours, and Off-Broadway productions in the United States.
Early life and education
Quintero was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to the United States as a child, growing up in Aurora, Colorado.[1][2][3] He attended Rangeview High School, where he became involved in theatre programs and developed an interest in performing arts.[1] He later moved to New York City to pursue professional theatre training and a career in performance.[4]
Career
Quintero began his professional career in regional and Off-Broadway theatre. He appeared as Elvin in the world premiere of Fandango for Butterflies (and Coyotes) at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, a production reviewed by The New York Times for its ensemble-driven storytelling approach.[5] He performed as Sol (Male Storyteller) in the world premiere of A Crossing at Barrington Stage Company, which was reviewed by Variety.[6] Quintero portrayed Juan in the Long Wharf Theatre production associated with the national tour launch of Altar Boyz.[7] He later joined the North American tour of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, performing in the role of Baby Doll, and also appeared in the Broadway production as a replacement performer.[1][8] In 2026, Quintero joined the Broadway company of The Rocky Horror Show at Studio 54, directed by Sam Pinkleton, as a swing and understudy.[9] He has also appeared in television roles including Law & Order: SVU, Madam Secretary, The Other Two, and Odd Mom Out.[4]
