Amanda Edirisinghe (born 6 September 1987) is a Sri Lankan Television presenter who made her television presenting debut in 2007.^[1]

Born and raised in Kandy Sri Lanka she gained her primary and secondary education at Hillwood College Kandy.

Amanda moved to colombo city and she entered the Miss Srilanka competition in 2007 and became the 4th runner up and thereafter she predominantly worked in the media as a television presenter while studying at the university. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in Social sciences with a second class upper division from the Open University of Sri Lanka. Edirisinghe received popularity for her work in the media as a programme presenter in her maiden game show Rasata Rasak with two well known popular senior singers and was noticed for her on screen persona.

At the age of nineteen years Edirisinghe won 4th runner up title at Miss Sri Lanka Universe 2007 beauty pageant. She also won Miss Photogenic title award and Miss Best in evening Gown title award from the same pageant. She had won three titles from a single pageant respectively. ^[2]

She made her television debut as a Television presenter in 2007, with Rasata Rasak tv programme on Sirasa TV.^[3][4][5] Subsequently then she presented The Colombo Fashion Show on TV Derana.^[6]
