PT Adiputro Wirasejati (or known by its trademark name as adi putro) is a bus coachbuilder company from Malang, East Java. Bus bodies made by Adiputro bodywork are widely used by well-known bus companies in Indonesia (especially in Java Island) such as Agra Mas, ALS, Budiman, Haryanto, Juragan 99, Lorena Group, NPM, Pahala Kencana, Pandawa 87, Rosalia Indah, Sinar Jaya and others.[1]

History

Adi Putro was founded by the Jethrokusumo brothers, who initially worked at a car dealership. Seeing the potential demand in the automotive market for large passenger cars, the brothers decided to quit their jobs and start a small bodywork business in 1973. Their first job was to modify two Mitsubishi Colt T120 pickup trucks into passenger cars.

After this bodywork business grew rapidly, the brothers officially founded the bodywork company under the name Adi Putro in 1975 in Malang, East Java, which still serves as their headquarters today.
