Chad Tyler Bronstein (born February 4, 1987) is an American businessman and talent agent who is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Real American Freestyle (RAF).
Other companies he either founded or co-founded include Fyllo, Wesana Health, Tyson 2.0, and Real American Beer. He was formerly president of Carma HoldCo, the parent company of celebrity cannabis brands including Tyson 2.0, Ric Flair Drip, and Immortal by Hulk Hogan.
As a talent agent, he represents Julianna Peña.[2]
Early life and education
Bronstein was born in Pepper Pike, Ohio, son of Vicki (née Parker) and Joel Bronstein.[3] His grandfather was the owner of gear cutting firm Stahl Gear & Machine.[4]
Bronstein grew up wanting to become an entrepreneur after flipping collectable Beanie Babies when he was 10 years old.[5]
He attended both Orange High School and Beachwood High School.[3] Bronstein competed in high school wrestling while at Beachwood.[6]
In 2009, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology from Miami University.[7]
Career
Bronstein began his career in Chicago working in sales, first for Adconion Media Group and later for Amobee.[7]
He founded the cannabis marketing agency Fyllo in 2019.[8] While at Amobee, Bronstein regularly fielded calls from Canadian cannabis companies looking to market their products in America, but were unable to due to advertising agencies seeing the industry as a liability.[5] Fyllo was founded to provide marketing infrastructure for those companies.[5]
In 2020, he co-founded the psychedelics company Wesana Health with Daniel Carcillo.[2] Carcillo endured concussions as an athlete, and wanted to found a company that offered psychedelics to individuals suffering from post-concussion syndrome.[9]
Bronstein co-founded the cannabis company Tyson 2.0 with Mike Tyson in 2021.[10] They were introduced by Bryan Spears, who was an employee of Fyllo.[11] Additionally, Tyson became an investor in Wesana Health.[2]
Tyson 2.0 partnered with Ric Flair to launch his Ric Flair Drip cannabis line in 2022.[12] Bronstein also helped Flair launch his Wooooo! Energy line of energy drinks.[13] They had met after Bronstein learned that he and Flair both owned boats in the same Tampa, Florida marina, and he approached Flair there with a business proposition.[14] Bronstein was named president of Carma HoldCo, Tyson 2.0 and Ric Flair Drip's newly formed parent company.[15]
Hulk Hogan signed with Carma HoldCo in 2023 to launch his Immortal by Hulk Hogan line of functional mushrooms, CBD and THC products.[16] Carma HoldCo fired Bronstein that same year after finding he structured their contract for a proposed Hogan beer line to give himself an ownership stake. [17]
In 2024, Bronstein co-founded Real American Beer (RAB) with Hulk Hogan and former Anheuser-Busch InBev counselor Terri Francis.[18] Carma HoldCo later sued Bronstein, alleging their idea for a Hogan-branded beer line was a trade secret he stole.[17]
Bronstein co-founded Real American Freestyle (RAF) with Hulk Hogan and Terri Francis in 2025.[19] He serves as chief executive officer of the company.[20]
Mike Tyson and Ric Flair named Bronstein as a defendant in their lawsuit against Carma HoldCo, alleging he embezzled money from the company while president.[21] Bronstein denied the allegation, filing a counterclaim against Tyson and Flair in 2026.[22]
