Banyubiru and Banyubiru Express are the regional passenger rail service in Indonesia operated by Kereta Api Indonesia which between Semarang Tawang and Solo Balapan via Gundih.The distance between both cities is approximately 114 kilometers with a travel time of around 2 hours as average. The service consists of executive and economy class coaches.

Operational

Banyubiru train was first time operated on 19 September 2008 with Indonesian KRD that made in PT INKA an serving between Semarang Tawang and Sragen via Solo Balapan, However Indonesian KRD was ceased on 25 July 2013.

Since 1 June 2023, the Banyubiru train return operated with schedule 2x daily each way with idle the Blambangan Express sets for morning schedule and Joglosemarkerto sets for evening schedule.[2][3]
