The 2024–25 season will be the 179th season in the history of SSV Ulm 1846 and its first in 2. Bundesliga since 2001. In addition to the domestic league, the team is scheduled to participate in the DFB-Pokal.
The Black and White teams will commence their season preparations on 25 June 2024. The team will be embarking on a training retreat in Oberstaufen from 1 to 7 July. During this time, SSV Ulm will also take part in a tournament in Kempten.[2]
