The 2024–25 season is the 125th season in the history of 1. FC Kaiserslautern and the third consecutive season in 2. Bundesliga. In addition to the domestic league, the team is scheduled to participate in the DFB-Pokal.

Summary

On 22 June, Kaiserslautern's preparations for the start of 2. Bundesliga began.[1] On the same day, the veteran midfielder Hendrick Zuck also signed an extension to his contract, the duration of which has not been announced.[2]
