NGC 6584

Το NGC 6584 είναι σφαιρωτό σμήνος στον αστερισμό Τηλεσκόπιον. Απέχει περίπου 45.000 έτη φωτός από τη Γη. Στο NGC 6584 έχουν παρατηρηθεί 69 μεταβλητοί αστέρες, κυρίως μεταβλητοί τύπου RR Λύρας.[1] Το ανακάλυψε ο Τζέιμς Ντάνλοπ το 1826. Έχει φαινόμενο μέγεθος +7,9, γεγονός που σημαίνει ότι είναι ορατό από μεγάλα κιάλια ή μεγαλύτερα οπτικά όργανα.
