Ο NGC 4638 (στο Νέο Γενικό Κατάλογο διπλοεγγράφεται ως NGC 4667) είναι φακοειδής γαλαξίας[2] ο οποίος απέχει περίπου 50 εκατομμύρια έτη φωτός[3] και βρίσκεται στον αστερισμό Παρθένο.[4] Ανακαλύφθηκε από τον αστρονόμο Ουίλιαμ Χέρσελ (William Herschel) στις 15 Μαρτίου 1784[5] και ανήκει στο Σμήνος γαλαξιών της Παρθένου.[6][7]
