Το Heavy Lifting είναι το τρίτο και τελευταίο άλμπουμ του αμερικανικού rock συγκροτήματος MC5, που κυκλοφόρησε στις 18 Οκτωβρίου του 2024. [11] Είναι η πρώτη στούντιο κυκλοφορία του συγκροτήματος από το 1971 και το High Time. [12]

Φόντο

Τον Μάρτιο του 2022, ο κιθαρίστας Γουέιν Κρέιμερ ανακοίνωσε ότι ένα νέο άλμπουμ των MC5 θα κυκλοφορούσε αργότερα μέσα στο έτος, μαζί με μια περιοδεία στις ΗΠΑ με το όνομα We Are All MC5. [13] Αργότερα επιβεβαίωσε ότι το άλμπουμ θα κυκλοφορούσε την άνοιξη του 2024. [14] Ο Κρέιμερ πέθανε τον Φεβρουάριο του 2024 από καρκίνο του παγκρέατος, καθώς το άλμπουμ πλησίαζε στην ολοκλήρωσή του.
