Game Boy Light

Το Game Boy Light κυκλοφόρησε στις 14 Απριλίου 1998 από τη Nintendo και ήταν διαθέσιμο μόνο στην Ιαπωνία. Ήταν η μόνη φορητή παιχνιδομηχανή της Nintendo που παράχθηκε με ενσωματωμένο φωτισμό μέχρι την τελευταία έκδοση του Gameboy Advance SP, που βγήκε το 2005.

Χαρακτηριστικά

Το Game Boy Light είναι μόνο ελαφρώς μεγαλύτερο από το Game Boy Pocket και διαθέτει ηλεκτροφωταύγεια φωτισμού για συνθήκες χαμηλού φωτισμού. Χρησιμοποιεί 2 μπαταρίες AA, οι οποίες παρέχουν περίπου 20 ώρες με το φως και 12 σε λειτουργία. Ήταν διαθέσιμο σε δύο χρώματα: χρυσό και ασήμι, καθώς και σε πολλές ειδικές εκδόσεις. Υπάρχει η Astro Boy edition, με μία Astro Boy εικόνα για αυτό. Άλλη έκδοση είναι η Pokémon Center Tokyo editon σε κίτρινο χρώμα.
