Το Disco (ελληνική απόδοση: Ντίσκο) είναι μουσικό είδος χορευτικής μουσικής, που εμπεριέχει στοιχεία Funk, Soul μουσικής, Ποπ μουσική και Σάλσα. Το είδος, γνώρισε ευρεία αναγνώριση στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του 1970 και στις αρχές του 1980. Το αρχικό του κοινό, προερχόταν από την κοινότητα των ομοφυλόφιλων, των Ιταλοαμερικανών,[5] των Λατίνων, στη Φιλαδέλφεια, προς το τέλος της δεκαετίας του 1960 και τις αρχές του 1970. Το Discο, επίσης, λειτούργησε ως αντίδραση για την κυριαρχία της Rock μουσικής και της στιγματισμένης χορευτικής μουσικής εκείνη την περίοδο. Οι γυναίκες κι αυτές ακολούθησαν την Disco, καθώς και άλλες περιθωριοποιημένες κοινότητες στη διάρκεια των χρόνων που ακολούθησαν.
