Το CDBurnerXP είναι ένα πρόγραμμα εγγραφής λογισμικού οπτικού δίσκου για Microsoft Windows, γραμμένο ως επί το πλείστον σε Visual Basic .NET μέχρι την έκδοση 4, κυκλοφόρησε το Σεπτέμβριο του 2007.[2] Παρέχει διεθνή υποστήριξη γλωσσών. Το λογισμικό είναι διαθέσιμο για κατέβασμα σε εκδόσεις 32-bit και 64-bit.

Το πρόγραμμα υποστηρίζει εγγραφή δεδομένων σε CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, Blu-ray Disc και HD DVD καθώς και εγγραφή αρχείων ήχου (WAV, MP3, MP2, FLAC, Windows Media Audio, AIFF, BWF (Broadcast WAV), και Ogg Vorbis) στη Red Book μορφή. Μπορούν να εγγραφούν και να δημιουργηθούν εικόνες ISO. Μπορεί να εγγράψει μορφές UDF και ISO-9660. Υποστηρίζονται επίσης bootable δίσκοι δεδομένων.

Το CDBurnerXP είναι freeware αλλά είναι κλειστό λογισμικό επειδή χρησιμοποιεί μερικές ιδιόκτητες βιβλιοθήκες[3].
