- 1 Μαρτίου: Διεξάγεται στη Ρώμη σύνοδος στην οποία ο Πάπας Σύμμαχος παραχωρεί στο Λαυρέντιο την επισκοπή της Νοκερίας στην Καμπανία. Διακηρύσσεται επίσης ότι οποιοσδήποτε κληρικός επιχειρούσε να συγκεντρώσει ψήφους για παπική διαδοχή όσο ήταν ζωντανός ο Πάπας ή όποιος διεξήγε συσκέψεις ή διαβουλεύσεις για το σκοπό αυτό, θα καθαιρούταν.
