Ṓ
Das Ṓ (Minuskel: ṓ) ist ein lateinischer Buchstabe. Dabei handelt es sich um den Buchstaben O, der mit einem Makron und einem Akut diakritisiert wird.
Verwendung
Der Buchstabe wird in der Schrift der Sprache Kaska verwendet. Dabei kennzeichnet der Makron die Vokallänge, es handelt sich also um ein langes O []. Der hier mit dem Makron kombinierte Akut weist darauf hin, dass der Vokal mit einem hohen Ton ausgesprochen wird.[1]
