Zainab (arabisch زينب) ist ein arabischer weiblicher Vorname. Er bedeutet „Wüstenblume“, „Zierde des Vaters“ oder „Zierbaum“. Die türkische Form des Namens ist Zeynep.
Andere Schreibweisen sind Zaineb, Zaynab, Zeineb, Zeinab, Zeynab, Zyneb, Zineb, lateinisch Zenobia.
