Wong Chung
Wong Chung (* 17. Juli 1880 in San Francisco, Kalifornien; † 25. Juli 1963 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien) war ein US-amerikanischer Filmschauspieler.
Leben und Karriere
Wong Chung wurde am 17. Juli 1880 in San Francisco, Kalifornien, geboren.
Er war in Hollywood als Schauspieler tätig und war damit ein Beispiel für asiatisch-stämmige Schauspieler im frühen amerikanischen Kino, die trotz zahlreicher Beschränkungen in Neben- oder Kleinstrollen besetzt wurden. Als einer von wenigen asiatischstämmigen Schauspieler, die im Abspann genannt wurden. Er hatte unter anderem Rollen in Filmen wie Barbary Coast (1935) – in dem er als einziger asiatisch-stämmiger Schauspieler in den Eröffnungscredits genannt wurde.
Er starb am 25. Juli 1963 in Los Angeles.
