Walter Cap
Walter Cap (* 1903 in Wien; † 1984)[1] war ein österreichischer Radrennfahrer.
Sportliche Laufbahn
Cap war im Straßenradsport aktiv und Mitglied der Nationalmannschaft. 1926 wurde er hinter Franz Bötsch Vizemeister im Straßenrennen. Von 1927 bis 1931 war er Unabhängiger und Berufsfahrer. Verträge hatte er u. a. mit dem deutschen Radsportteam Opel.
Bei den Straßenradsport-Weltmeisterschaften wurde er im Profirennen 1927 15., 1928 kam er auf den 5. Rang vor seinen Landsleuten Max Bulla und Otto Cap.
Familiäres
Sein Bruder Otto Cap war ebenfalls Radrennfahrer.
