Lage der Gemeinde Villara in der Provinz Vercelli

Villata (piemontesisch la Vilata) ist eine Gemeinde in der italienischen Provinz Vercelli (VC), Region Piemont.

Lage und Einwohner

Villata liegt 11 km nördlich von der Provinzhauptstadt Vercelli in einer Ebene am linken Ufer des Flusses Sesia. Die auf 136 m über dem Meeresspiegel liegende Gemeinde hat 1518 Einwohner (Stand 31. Dezember 2025).

Die Nachbargemeinden sind Borgo Vercelli, Caresanablot, Casalvolone, Oldenico, San Nazzaro Sesia und Vercelli.

Verkehrsanbindung

Bis zur Autobahnauffahrt (Vercelli Est) der A26 sind es knapp 8 Kilometer. Zum nächsten Bahnhof in der Nachbargemeinde Borgo Vercelli sind es rund 6 Kilometer. Dort hat man Anschluss auf der Bahnstrecke Turin–Mailand nach Vercelli, Novara, Turin und Mailand. Mit dem lokalen Busunternehmen STN ist Villata mit Novara und Vercelli verbunden. Im Norden und Osten grenzt die Gemeinde an die Provinz Novara.
