Im Militärwesen:

  • veralteter Ausdruck für eine Schlacht, deren Verlauf mehr auf Improvisation als auf einem ausgearbeiteten Schlachtplan basierte
  • hintereinander aufgestellte Truppenteile der Aufstellung zu einer Feldschlacht, siehe Treffentaktik
