Thomas Linehan
Thomas P. Linehan (* 1859 im County Cork; † 15. Oktober 1938) war ein irischer Landwirt und Politiker der Farmers’ Party. Er war von Dezember 1922 bis Mai 1936 Mitglied des Seanad Éireann des irischen Freistaats, des Oberhauses des irischen Parlaments (Oireachtas).
Biografie
Linehan war Landwirt bei Whitechurch. Er war der erste Sekretär der Irish National League. Lange Zeit war er zudem Mitglied im Cork County Council. 1922 wurde er für drei Jahre als Mitglied der Farmers’ Party in den Seanad Éireann gewählt.[1] 1925 wurde er für zwölf Jahre wiedergewählt. 1928 trat er aus der Farmers’ Party aus und war fortan als unabhängiges Mitglied im Seanad. Mit der Auflösung des Seanad 1936 verlor er seinen Sitz.
