    • Siderische Periode, die Zeit, die ein Himmelskörper für eine wahre Umdrehung oder Umkreisung benötigt, im Gegensatz zur synodischen Periode
    • Siderisches Jahr (Sternjahr), die wahre Dauer eines Umlaufs der Erde um die Sonne
    • Siderischer Monat, die Dauer eines Umlaufs des Monds um die Erde (27,322 Tage)
