Die Provinz Shefa ist eine Region des südpazifischen Inselstaats Vanuatu. Sie liegt südlich der ebenfalls zu Vanuatu zählenden Provinz Malampa und nördlich von Tafea.
Benennung
Wie bei allen (der insgesamt sechs) Provinzen von Vanuatu leitet sich auch die Bezeichnung Shefa von den Namen der in der Region gelegenen Hauptinseln bzw. Inselgruppen, hier von den Shepherd-Inseln sowie den Inseln Épi und Éfaté, ab.

Bevölkerung
Die Provinz zählte 2015 rund 99.700 Bewohner bei einer Landfläche von 1455 km². Die Provinzhauptstadt Port Vila ist zugleich die Hauptstadt von Vanuatu. Der Ort liegt an der Südküste der Insel Éfaté. Port Vila hat heute etwa 50.000 Einwohner.
