Selatium ist eine Gattung der Krabben aus der Familie der Sesarmidae mit zwei Arten.[1] Sie bewohnen die Spritzwasserzone im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik und klettern auf Bäume.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 36 mm lang und längs-rechteckig. Die Seitenränder verlaufen parallel oder konvergieren im hinteren Teil leicht. Die Stirn weist eine tiefe mittige Einziehung auf, die Postfrontallappen sind gut entwickelt. Der epibranchiale Zahn ist ausgebildet oder fehlt. Die Oberseite der Hand (Propodus) der Scherenbeine weist bei Männchen eine Längsleiste aus zahlreichen Höckern auf, die teilweise kammartig ist. Der bewegliche Finger trägt etwa 30 Höcker. Die Finger der Schreitbeine haben etwa ein Drittel der Länge der Hand.[2]
