Rune Midtun

Rune Midtun (* 17. Mai 1973) ist ein norwegischer Politiker der rechten Fremskrittspartiet (FrP). Seit 2025 ist er Abgeordneter im Storting.

Leben

Midtun stammt aus der westnorwegischen Inselkommune Karmøy.[1] In seiner Heimatgemeinde trat er bei der Kommunalwahl 2023 als Bürgermeisterkandidat der FrP an.[2]

Bei der Parlamentswahl 2025 zog Midtun erstmals in das norwegische Nationalparlament, das Storting, ein. Dort vertritt er den Wahlkreis Rogaland und wurde Mitglied im Kommunal- und Verwaltungsausschuss.[3]
