Rob Parsons

Rob Parsons ist ein ehemaliger US-amerikanischer Radrennfahrer und nationaler Meister im Radsport.

Sportliche Laufbahn

Parsons war im Straßenradsport aktiv. Als Amateur gewann er 1967 die nationale Meisterschaft im Straßenrennen. 1964 hatte er die Meisterschaft über 100 Meilen gewonnen. Seine erste Berufung in die Nationalmannschaft hatte er zur Mexiko-Rundfahrt. Er gewann 1962 das Etappenrennen Tour de Lac St. Jean und das Fitchburg Longsjo Classic 1963. Bei den Panamerikanischen Spielen 1963 gewann er die Silbermedaille im Mannschaftszeitfahren, 1967 startete er erneut bei den Spielen. 1966 siegte er im Aspen Alpine Cup. Die Nevada City Classic gewann er fünfmal. 2012 wurde Parsons in die United States Bicycling Hall of Fame aufgenommen.[1]
