Raquel Argandoña
Raquel Eliana Argandoña de la Fuente (* 5. Dezember 1957 in Ñuñoa) ist eine chilenische Schauspielerin, Fernsehmoderatorin und ehemalige Politikerin (Renovación Nacional).
Karriere
Raquel Argandoña begann ihre Karriere im Fernsehen 1973 als Model in der Fernseh-Spielshow Sábado Gigante, an der sie bis 1976 teilnahm. Im Jahr 1975 wurde sie zur Miss Chile gewählt und nahm am Miss-Universe-International-Wettbewerb teil. 1978 moderierte sie das OTI Festival, einen lateinamerikanischen Musikwettbewerb, der als chilenische Version des Eurovision Song Contest gilt.
1996 kandidierte sie für das Bürgermeisteramt von Pelarco, wurde aber nicht gewählt. Im Jahr 2000 kandidierte sie erneut und gewann.[1] Das Amt als Bürgermeisterin übte sie bis 2004 aus.
