Randy Buckner
Randy Lee Buckner (* 15. Juni 1970 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA) ist ein US-amerikanischer Neurowissenschaftler und Psychologe.
Er ist seit 2009 Professor für Psychologie und Neurowissenschaften an der Harvard University.
Buckner studierte an der Washington University in St. Louis und wurde 1995 promoviert. Während seines Studiums wurde er stark von Endel Tulving geprägt. Ein PostDoc-Aufenthalt führte ihn an das Massachusetts General Hospital.
Eines seiner Forschungsgebiete ist das Default Mode Network.
Der Aufsatz Yeo et al. (2011), siehe Schriften (Auswahl), war wegweisend für die Begründung des Forschungsgebiets der network neuroscience.
