Premiership 2002

Die Premiership 2002 (aus Sponsoringgründen als Northern Ford Premiership bezeichnet) war die siebte Saison der zweiten englischen Rugby-League-Liga. Den ersten Tabellenplatz nach Ende der regulären Saison belegten die Huddersfield Giants, die im Finale 38:16 gegen die Leigh Centurions gewannen und in die Super League aufstiegen. 2002 lösten sich nach Runde 11 die York Wasps auf, ihre bisherigen Spiele wurden aus der Tabelle gestrichen. Bereits in der nächsten Saison nahm mit den York City Knights wieder ein Verein aus York am Ligabetrieb teil. Nach der Saison 2002 wurde die Premiership wieder in eine zweite und eine dritte Liga, die National League One und die National League Two, aufgespalten.
