Poepun (Poepung) ist eine osttimoresische Aldeia im Suco Samatrae (Verwaltungsamt Ermera, Gemeinde Ermera).[1][2] 2015 lebten in der Aldeia 261 Menschen.[3]

Geographie

Poepun bildet den Mittelteil des Sucos Samatrae. Nördlich befinden sich die Aldeias Loblala und Taclela, südlich die Aldeias Samatrae und Tidibessi. Im Westen grenzt Poepun an die Sucos Fatubolo und Coilate-Leten und im Osten an die Sucos Poetete Vila, Leguimea und Mertuto.[1] Der kleine Buri durchquert das Zentrum der Aldeia. Er gehört zum Flusssystem des Lóis.[2] Südlich des Flusses liegt der Foho Samatrai (1376 m).[4] Die Häuser in der Aldeia stehen einzeln oder bilden kleine Weiler. Im Nordwesten befindet sich das Zentrum der Aldeia im Ort Poepun.[1]

Politik

2023 wurde Joni Soares M. Babose zum Chefe de Aldeia gewählt.[5]
