Lage

Die Gemeinde Penin liegt im Südosten des Artois, 145 Kilometer westnordwestlich von Arras. Nachbargemeinden von Penin sind Tincques i8m Norden, Berles-Monchel im Nordosten, Izel-lès-Hameau im Südosten, Villers-Sir-Simon im Süden, Ambrines im Südwesten, Maizières im Westen sowie Averdoingt im Nordwesten. Am Nordrand der Gemeinde Penin stehen fünf Windkraftanlagen als Teil eines interkommunalen Windparks.
