PC Format war eine alle vier Wochen erscheinende, englischsprachige Computerzeitschrift des britischen Verlags Future plc.

Geschichte

Ab Ausgabe 255 wurde eine 25-seitige Sonderbeilage eingeführt, die sich intensiv mit einem Thema beschäftigt. Zeitgleich wurden die beiliegenden Datenträger abgeschafft und gegen Download-Links ersetzt.[1]

2015 wurde das Magazin eingestellt.[2] In der letzten Ausgabe im November 2015 deutete der Chefredakteur Alan Dexter wirtschaftliche Gründe für das Ende der Zeitschrift an. Die Auflage war 2021 auf 6249 gefallen und wurde ab da nicht mehr veröffentlicht. Im Jahr 2000 lag die Auflage noch bei über 100.000 Exemplaren. Alle Mitarbeiter wurden verlagsintern in andere Abteilungen versetzt.[3]
