PCGamesN ist ein britisches Onlinemagazin mit Fokus auf Computerspiele.

Geschichte

PCGamesN.com wurde am 5. Juni 2012 von der im Vormonat gegründeten Firma NetworkN gestartet.[1] Im ersten Monat erreichte man 256.839 unique user, wobei man auch auf nutzergenerierte Inhalte setzte. Die Redaktion wuchs von fünf auf sieben im August 2012.[2] 2015 stießen weitere Redakteure von GamesMaster[3] und dem Official PlayStation Magazine hinzu und Freiberufler wurden in die Stammmannschaft aufgenommen.[4] Im Jahr 2017 wurden zwei neue stellvertretende Chefredakteure vormals von Edge und Kotaku UK angestellt.[5] 2017 hatte die Website 40 Millionen monatliche Besucher, 19 Redakteure und das Unternehmen NetworkN betrieb 60 weitere Seiten.[6] Chefredakteur Ben Maxwell übernahm 2017 Verantwortung für die NetworkN-Gruppe insgesamt und gab seinen Posten als Chefredakteur an Richard Scott-Jones ab.[7]
