Neu-Rottstock

Neu-Rottstock war eine Kolonie, die 1931 als Wohnplatz von Rottstock ausgewiesen war, im Jahr 1950 nach Brück eingemeindet wurde und darin aufging. Das ehemalige Siedlungsgebiet liegt im Landkreis Potsdam-Mittelmark in Brandenburg.[1]

Geschichte

Neu-Rottstock wurde im Jahr 1821 als Kolonie gegründet und entwickelte sich als gassenförmige Siedlung, wie im Urmesstischblatt 2107 Brück von 1841 dokumentiert ist. Im Jahr 1858 bestand die Kolonie aus 25 Wohngebäuden und 37 Wirtschaftsgebäuden. Die Einwohnerzahl lag 1858 bei 146 Personen, sank 1871 auf 140, stieg 1885 auf 151 an und betrug 1895 wiederum 141 Personen. Für 1895 sind 27 Wohnhäuser überliefert. Die erste urkundlich bekannte Erwähnung stammt aus dem Jahr 1861 als Neu-Rottstock, Colonie.

Zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts lag die Einwohnerzahl 1905 bei 152 Personen. Im Jahr 1931 wurde Neu-Rottstock als Wohnplatz von Rottstock ausgewiesen. Im Jahr 1950 erfolgte die Eingemeindung zusammen mit Rottstock nach Brück. Neu-Rottstock war nach Rottstock eingepfarrt.
