NGC 5745, auch NGC 5745-1 und NGC 5745B genannt, ist eine Spiralgalaxie vom Hubble-Typ Sa im Sternbild Waage. Sie bildet mit den sie überlagernden deutlich kleineren Objekten NGC 5745-2[3] und NGC 5745-3[4] eine Art von „Supergalaxie“ und wurde am 5. Juni 1836 von John Herschel mit einem 18-Zoll-Spiegelteleskop entdeckt,[5] der dabei „vF, E, pslbM, 20 arcseconds“[6] notierte.
