NGC 125 ist eine linsenförmige Galaxie vom Hubble-Typ S0/a im Sternbild Fische auf der Ekliptik. Sie ist schätzungsweise 242 Millionen Lichtjahre von der Milchstraße entfernt und hat einen Durchmesser von etwa 125.000 Lichtjahren. Gemeinsam mit NGC 126, NGC 127, NGC 128 und NGC 130 bildet sie die NGC 128-Gruppe.

Das Objekt wurde am 25. Dezember 1790 von dem deutsch-britischen Astronomen Wilhelm Herschel entdeckt.[4]
