Das Morphy-Matt ist eine nach dem Schachspieler Paul Morphy benannte Mattkombination.

Der gegnerische König befindet sich bei diesem Mattbild hinter einem eigenen Bauern in der Ecke des Schachbretts, in der abgebildeten Stellung auf h8. Das Matt erfolgt durch einen Läufer, wobei dem gegnerischen König durch einen Turm die verbleibenden Fluchtfelder versperrt werden. In der Abbildung versperrt der Turm auf g5 das Fluchtfeld g8, während der Läufer auf d4 den schwarzen König nach 1. … e6–e5 2. Ld4xe5# matt setzt.
