Moritschus ist eine Gattung der Krabben mit sechs Arten.[1] Es handelt sich ausschließlich um Süßwasserkrabben der Neotropis, die im Süden Kolumbiens, in Ecuador und im Norden Perus beheimatet sind.[2]

Merkmale

Der Exopodit des dritten Maxillipeden ist gewöhnlich länger als 30 % der Länge des Ischiums des Endopoditen. Das erste Gonopodium hat einen kräftigen Längskamm auf der Kaudalfläche und eine seitliche Erweiterung, die bis zum Ende reicht. Das Ende ist gestutzt und in Ansicht von distal länglich. Vor dem Spermienkanal liegen zwei flache Papillen.[2]
