Michael Derham

Michael James Derham (* 1889 im County Dublin; † 20. November 1923 in Dublin) war ein irischer Politiker der Sinn Féin und der Cumann na nGaedheal. Er war vom August 1921 bis zu seinem Tod im November 1923 Teachta Dála (Abgeordneter) im Dáil Éireann, dem Unterhaus des irischen Parlaments (Oireachtas).

Derham wurde ohne Gegenkandidat der Sinn Féin bei den Wahlen 1921 im Wahlkreis Dublin County in das Unterhaus des Parliament of Southern Ireland gewählt. Die Mitglieder nahmen ihren Sitz nicht ein, sondern bildeten stattdessen den 2. Dáil. Er war Befürworter des Anglo-Irischen Vertrages und wurde bei den Wahlen 1922 wiedergewählt. Er trat dann der Cumann na nGaedheal bei und konnte seinen Sitz bei den Wahlen 1923 halten.[1] Er verstarb jedoch drei Monate nach den Wahlen.
