Mertonia ist eine Gattung der Krabben aus der Familie Pilumnidae mit zwei Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die tiefe Gezeitenzone (subtidal) und den Schelf in Tiefen zwischen 13 und 109 m im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 7 mm lang und etwa halbkreisförmig. Die Seitenränder konvergieren stark nach hinten. Die Antennengeißel ist federartig. Der Merus des dritten Maxillipeden steht distolateral (körperfern-seitlich) hervor.[2]
