Mathias Stamm

Mathias Stamm (* 1981 oder 1982 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) ist ein deutscher Journalist.

Werdegang

Stamm wuchs in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern auf. Er schloss zunächst ein Studium der Psychologie an der Universität Greifswald mit dem Diplom ab. Anschließend besuchte er die Deutsche Journalistenschule in München, die er mit Diplom verließ. Ab 2008 war er als Reporter, Chef vom Dienst und Redaktionsleiter für die Deutsche Welle tätig. Zudem baute er das Webvideo-Format Jäger & Sammler des öffentlich-rechtlichen Angebots Funk mit auf. Zum 1. Januar 2026 wurde Stamm als Nachfolger von Manuela Kasper-Claridge Chefredakteur der Deutschen Welle.[1]
