Geographie
Machemont liegt am Fluss Matz, einem Nebenfluss der Oise. Umgeben wird Machemont von den Nachbargemeinden Cannectancourt im Norden, Ribécourt-Dreslincourt im Nordosten, Cambronne-lès-Ribécourt im Osten, Thourotte im Süden, Mélicocq im Südwesten sowie Chevincourt im Westen.
