Der Begriff Lochung hat verschiedene Bedeutungen:
- Lochung, eine Technik beim Schmieden zum Aufdornen oder Ausstanzen von Metall, meist Eisen/Stahl zur Verbindung von Stäben, z. B. für Gitter
- Anbringen von Löchern bei einem Hufeisen, siehe Hufeisen#Lochung
- Lochung von Briefmarken, siehe Lochung (Philatelie)
- Lochung von Dokumenten mittels Textperforiermaschine, z. B. das fälschungssichere Eingangsdatum einer Anmeldung beim Patentamt
- Lochung von Blechen oder Traversen zur Gewichtsminderung, siehe Lochblech
- Lochung zur Ablage von Papieren in Aktenordnern, Schnellheftern oder Loseblattsammlungen, Maße nach DIN ISO 838 siehe Locher#Internationale Standards und Lochsysteme
