Little Prince

Little Prince ist ein von Alan Jay Lerner und Frederick Loewe geschriebener und von Richard Kiley gesungener Filmsong aus dem Film Der kleine Prinz aus dem Jahr 1974. Das Lied wurde 1975 für den Oscar für den besten Filmsong nominiert.

Richard Kiley in der Rolle des Piloten singt das Lied im Film, während er sich in der Wüste bemüht, den kleinen Prinzen (Steven Warner) am Leben zu erhalten. Das Lied war auf dem bei Warner Bros. Records 1975 veröffentlichten Soundtrack-Album das vorletzte Stück.[1] Es wurde von der Gruppe Charles Brown Superstar in deren Album Days of Our Drive/Sweet Piece of Ass (1995) aufgenommen. Little Prince wurde mit dem 2004 bei Blue Dalmatian Productions erneut veröffentlichten Soundtrack abermals aufgenommen.[2]
