Kelly Hyman (2022)

Kelly Hyman (* 20. Juli 1969) ist eine australisch-amerikanische Rechtsanwältin, Medienkommentatorin und ehemalige Schauspielerin.[1][2] Sie ist als juristische Analystin in US-amerikanischen Fernsehsendern tätig und gründete die Anwaltskanzlei The Hyman Law Firm in Florida.[3]

Zu ihren Fernsehauftritten gehörte die Rolle der Loretta in der Fernsehserie The Young and the Restless. Darüber hinaus spielte sie im Film Getting There mit und trat gemeinsam mit Adam West in Doin’ Time on Planet Earth auf.[4][5]

Leben und Ausbildung

Hyman wurde in Miami Beach im US-Bundesstaat Florida geboren und wuchs teilweise in New York City sowie in Südkalifornien auf.[6] Sie absolvierte ein Studium der Kommunikationswissenschaften an der University of California, Los Angeles.[7] Anschließend erwarb sie ihren Juris Doctor an der University of Florida Levin College of Law.[8]

Karriere

Vor ihrer juristischen Laufbahn arbeitete Hyman als Kinderdarstellerin und Model.[9] Sie spielte unter anderem Rollen in Fernsehproduktionen wie The Young and the Restless sowie im Film Doin’ Time on Planet Earth mit Adam West.[10]

Nach ihrem Wechsel in den juristischen Bereich arbeitete sie als Prozessanwältin mit Schwerpunkt auf Sammelklagen und Massenschadensfällen.[11][12] Sie war Präsidentin der Palm Beach County Chapter der Federal Bar Association.[13]

Darüber hinaus tritt Hyman regelmäßig als juristische Kommentatorin in Fernsehsendungen und Nachrichtensendungen auf, darunter NBC, Fox News, BBC und Court TV.[14]

Im Jahr 2023 startete sie den True Crime Podcast Once Upon a Crime in Hollywood.[14]
