Der Kanton Chalindrey ist seit 2015 ein französischer Wahlkreis im Arrondissement Langres im Département Haute-Marne in der Region Grand Est. Der Hauptort des Kantons ist Chalindrey.
Geschichte
Der Kanton wurde am 22. März 2015 im Rahmen der Neugliederung der Kantone neu geschaffen.[1] Seine Gemeinden gehörten bis 2015 zu den Kantonen Fayl-Billot (alle 18 Gemeinden), Laferté-sur-Amance (9 der 11 Gemeinden), Longeau-Percey (8 der 24 Gemeinden), Varennes-sur-Amance (6 der 13 Gemeinden), Langres (Culmont und Saint-Vallier-sur-Marne), Neuilly-l’Évêque (Celsoy) und Prauthoy (Grandchamp).

Der Kanton besteht aus 45 Gemeinden mit insgesamt 10.545 Einwohnern (Stand: 1. Januar 2023) auf einer Gesamtfläche von 490,74 km²:

Politik
Im 1. Wahlgang am 22. März 2015 erreichte keines der drei Kandidatenpaare die absolute Mehrheit. Bei der Stichwahl am 29. März 2015 gewann das Gespann Bernard Gendrot/Véronique Michel (beide DVD) gegen Jean-François Gueniot/Marie Perrin (beide PS) und Fabienne Millot/Gérard Terrillon (beide FN) mit einem Stimmenanteil von 42,62 % (Wahlbeteiligung:60,79 %).[2]
